Anyone have any objections to putting time stamps next to each "patch news" and "wiki news" items? This will allow viewers to see when a patch was released at a glance and to notice recent updates easier.

Awesome idea, actually. Any preference on format? I'm sure getting the time of day down to the second would be difficult, so maybe just a date stamp?

Yeah, just the date. An entry would look something like this:
- [December 5, 2008] Patch xx.xx.x is released, blah blah blah
--Quovatis 12:09, 5 December 2008 (EST)
I went ahead and made the changes since there were no objections in over a week. I guess we can debate whether it should go on the end or the beginning if anyone thinks it matters. I left the entries from May on there only because it shows the server merge, which might be of high interest for some viewers returning.

How about a "Featured Article" section to the main page? Sort of like how the real wikipedia does, but it would be weekly or monthly instead of daily. It would be a way to promote some pages that normally would never get viewed, but are well-written and informative.
